Sulemana Abudu

Psychological Horror Author

Sulemana Abudu is an emerging psychological horror author whose work explores the intersections of dark academia, domestic suspense, and supernatural dread.

His debut novel, I Would Die For You — Book I: The Corruption, is a 550-page slow-burn descent into madness set in Pittsburg, Kansas. The novel examines what happens when the person closest to you becomes unrecognizable — and when the monster you fear may already have a place inside the home.

Abudu's fiction is character-driven, atmospheric, and rooted in the slow accumulation of dread rather than sudden shock. His work lingers in the uncomfortable spaces between loyalty and obsession, devotion and collapse, faith and corruption.

Rather than relying on easy scares, he writes horror that unfolds patiently, asking what people invite into their lives without fully understanding the cost.

The Corruption is the first book in a planned trilogy. He is currently writing the second installment.
